Teeth Whitening Gel Applicators
SmileLABS™ Cosmetic Teeth Whitening, LLC uses two proprietary formulae for our SmileLABS™ Cosmetic Teeth Whitening Gels. This refers to different strengths of our hydrogen peroxide (HP) gel used in our Signature SmileLABS™ Cosmetic Teeth Whitening Chairside Procedure, and to different strengths of our carbamide peroxide gel used in our Signature SmileLABS™ Cosmetic Teeth Whitening Take-Home Kit Procedure.
We start with hydrogen peroxide because in this form, the gel will immediately start to react with our new SmileLABS™ Cosmetic Teeth Whitening Infinity™ SeriesAccelerator Lights. Only hydrogen peroxide can be catalyzed (speed up the chemical reaction that whitens teeth) by high-intensity light energy. In other words, only HP is ready to go and immediately work with a light. Our HP-based SmileLABS™ Cosmetic Teeth Whitening Gel comes in strengths of 5%, 8%, 10%, 12%, 16%, and 35%. Our 16% HP gel is the strength used in our Signature SmileLABS™ Cosmetic Teeth Whitening Chairside Procedure, and is available for purchase only to our SmileLABS™ Cosmetic Teeth Whitening Authorized Dealers (SmileLABS™ Lab Owners) or to SmileLABS™ Cosmetic Teeth Whitening Authorized Dealer Dentists. Our 35% HP-based gel is for professional use only and is sold only to SmileLABS™ Cosmetic Teeth Whitening Authorized Dealer Dentists.
Carbamide Peroxide (CP) gels are sold in various strengths and are used without a light in our Signature SmileLABS™ Cosmetic Teeth Whitening Take-Home Kit Procedure. These are not used in our Signature SmileLABS™ Cosmetic Teeth Whitening Chairside Procedure. This because CP will not react to light energy until some time has passed after it is applied to the teeth, at which time it converts into Hydrogen Peroxide and Urea.
Since about one-third of CP’s chemical composition is HP, one can equate the relative concentration strengths of CP to HP by dividing the listed concentration strength of CP by 3 to give a close approximation of the concentration strength in terms of HP. In other words, a 44% strength of CP breaks down into an HP strength of 14.6%. We sell CP in syringes at 22%, 35%, and 44% concentration of Carbamide Peroxide. Again, this equates to a relative HP strength of approximately 7%, 12%, and 15% respectively. Our maximum strength 44% CP is sold only to SmileLABS™ Cosmetic Teeth Whitening Authorized Dealers or to SmileLABS™ Cosmetic Teeth Whitening Authorized Dealer Dentists.
Our various strengths of CP and HP can be compared to other existing brand names like Zoom!™, Opalescence™, Nite White™, Day White™, Nupro Gold™, BriteSmile™, Sapphire™ Professional, Pola Zing™, Pola Night™, and Pola Day™ teeth bleaching gels.
